“Donate Phone” to Elders in Old-Age Homes (SMS “Donate Phone” to 5800000)

Aircel and HelpAge India has joined hands to provide mobile phones to the elderly in old-age home across India. Aircel will collect old and spare mobiles and distribute it among the elders in the old age homes with a free talk time for a period of one year.
Aircel has devised a plan to set up drop boxes in big shopping malls, clubs, news agencies and Aircel retail outlets, where old or spare mobile phones can be dropped. Aircel will collect the old phones. Public can also donate through SMS ‘Donate Phone’ to 5800000
